THE WAY TO THE BEACHES.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Certainly the major enchantments of Puerto Cabello are its beaches , is a perfect combination of warm calm waters bathing with their waves the foot of the very large mountains which are extended here all along the entire region.

It is from here where you can see all the dimensions of National Park San Esteban, and more to the east the border line of National Park Henry Pittier.

 

 

 

Ciertamente el mayor encanto que tiene Puerto Cabello son sus playas, la combinación es perfecta calmas cálidas playas, de cristalino oleaje bañan con su vaivén las faldas de la montaña que se extienden con todo su esplendor a lo largo de toda la región. Desde aquí se pueden divisar con claridad las dimensiones del Parque Nacional San Esteban y hacia el este los linderos del Henry Pittier.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

El viaje a las playas por carretera es bastante corto y en el camino nos encontramos las más populares El Balneario Quizandal y Playa Huequito, rodeadas de clubes locales, allí se encuentra el muelle para la excursión a Isla Larga. Por muy poco dinero usted es transportado a un verdadero paraíso de arenas coralíneas que invitan a practicar todos los deportes acuáticos.

The trip to the beaches is not far, on the way we can find the most popular ones, Balneario Quizandal y Playa Huequito, surrounded by local clubs, from there you can sail to Isla Larga. For a little money you are taken to a real paradise of coral sands inviting to practise any water sports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the way is located the very traditional town of Borburata with a fabulous river and several options for lodging.

Borburata is one of the towns tht keeps intact its old traditions along the central coast and some events as the feast of Cristo de la Salud, San Juán y los diablos are real happenings on this region and people from all over the country come here to share this enrooted traditions.

Typical food of the region and a natural view which remains that of San Esteban will delight you during this part of the traject.

 

 

En el camino se encuentra el tradicional pueblo de Borburata, con un río estupendo y varias opciones de alojamiento en posadas.

Borburata es uno de los pueblos con mayor tradición en la costa central y eventos como la fiesta del Cristo de La Salud, el San Juán, los Diablos son todo un acontemiento en esta región y gente de todo el país viene a acompañar a los lugareños en tan enraizadas tradiciones.

Comida típica de la región y una vista natural que recuerda la de San Esteban, le deleitarán en esta refrescante parte del trayecto.

 

 

 

 

 

Las vistas de la Corillera de la Costa son ahora más cercanas, vemos el cacerío de Gañango que aunque no tiene buena infraestructura, cuenta con una enorme piscina natural formada por los corales, más adelante el mar y la montaña parecen unirse en uno solo para crear un paisaje muy especial en el inicio del ascenso de la montaña hacia Patanemo. Los corales y la espuma del mar parecen alegrarse y respirar profundo al encontrarse.

 

 

 

 

 

The sights of the Mountain Chain of the Coast are closer now, we see the village of Gañango which doesn't have much buildings in it but counts with a huge water pool formed by corals, futher ahead mountains and sea seem to join together in a special view right when the road goes uphill towards Patanemo. BAHIA DE PATANEMO

 

El nombre de Patanemo significa Paz Tenemos y en verdad el lugar le hace honor, una feliz bahía, rodeada de espectaculares montañas, bañada por frescos ríos, con lagunas y una playa totalmente plantada con cocoteros le indican que usted llegó al sitio donde si se puede integrar a la naturaleza, después de ver todas estas cosas nos damos cuenta de la suerte que hemos tenido en haber conocido a Puerto Cabello y poder llegar hasta aquí.
